  • Chris from LA asks:
I see in the latest Minnesota video (Craig and Chan hunting North Dakota) one of them had their arrows crested with Midwest Whitetail wraps. I want some. How can I get some?
    Winke Responds:
Chris, I will get something in the merchandise section of the website soon. They had those custom made. Thanks.
  • Travis from AL asks:
Just wanted to say you have a great show that i watch on a regular basis, its all deer hunting and i think that separates it from other programs. I live in North East TN. and would like to get people in my area to check out your show.Do you have shirts or hats that have Midwest Whitetail on them were i can buy to do some advertising for you in this area. just want to tell you again great show..
    Winke Responds:
Travis, Thanks so much for your support. We do sell hats and shirts in the MW Gear store. You can find the link at the very top of the "Recently Updated" block on the home page or find another link at the very bottom of the home page. Have a great day.
  • zack from MI asks:
hey bill, i was wondering if you got any more midwest whitetail stickers, wanted one for the truck!
    Winke Responds:
Zack, I need to get some more. I have a lot of folks looking for them. I appreciate your interest. I will have some more soon. Have a great day.
  • Steve Colby from MN asks:
Bill- I have been waiting for you to get the slate tshirt in a large again...How can I order one?
    Winke Responds:
Steve, I have the slate Tees in so I am thinking you mean the Stone Tees. I have a minimum order quantity that I have to place and this time of year is not very active on short sleeve shirts so I was planning to wait until spring to reorder that one. Sorry about that, but there won't any Stone Tees anytime soon.
  • Jeff from PA asks:
Bill, ? on your hats. I own a 7 3/4 mellon and have a hard time finding a hat that doesn't sit on top of my head like a thimble. Do you or any of your staff have a mellon sized head too? If I buy one, I'd like it to fit properly. Thanks, Jeff
    Winke Responds:
Jeff, I have a normal sized head 7 1/4. Scott Prucha has a giant head, and he wears these things. His head is the size of a portable television or one of those little fridges you had in your room in college. I will ask around to see if someone has a 7 3/4 mellon and see if the hats fit. Have a good day.
  • Grant Steiner from MN asks:
Hey Bill love the show! I was wondering where I can purchase the large Midwest Whitetail decals that I see on some of the prostaffers trucks? Thanks
    Winke Responds:
That is a good question Grant. I need to get some of those for sale on the website. It is on my list (a long list unfortunately). Thanks for asking and hopefully I can have something for you soon.
  • Jim from MI asks:
Hey Bill, loved the shed hunting show! I'm looking foward to the next one. One quick question; do you have any window stickers available and how would I get them? I went to the Huntin' Time Expo and the Deer & Turkey Classic here in Michigan, but they didn't have any. Anyway, keep up the good work. Jim Shear
    Winke Responds:
Jim, I will get some more made and then offer them on the website. Thanks for your support.
  • Mike from NJ asks:
Bill, I would like to order a shirt and a hat. When ordering it says apply coupon code. Where is this located?
    Winke Responds:
Mike, That is actually a code for the pro staff so they can buy the stuff for a discount. You don't have to enter anything in that field in order to purchase something. Thanks.
  • Jon from MO asks:
Hello Mr. Winke my name is Jon Meyer and I'm contacting You to suggest on your midwest whitetail gear link that maybe in the future to come you and your team could add the hoodies and hats that have the midwest whitetail logo on front and the state name on back. I seen a few of the team members from team missouri wearing them in the video's and think that if you market them that you could sell quite a few of them. I know I would purchase them and all my hunting buddies would to. Well thank You for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this.
    Winke Responds:
Jon, I appreciate the suggestion. I think it is a great idea. As we grow and get a bit more capital to work with, it will be easier to stock a lot of different styles. I appreciate the suggestion. Have a great day.
  • Steve from PA asks:
Hi Bill, Not so much a question, but wanted to weigh in on the hat. I have 2 "ugly" hats, each bring their own memories from the woods, and I wouldn't give them up for anything. Find a way to market your hat with the Midwest logo on it, I'll buy one!!! Thanks again for all you do, can't wait for more shows!!!
    Winke Responds:
Steve, I might be pushing my luck trying to sell that thing! Actually, it is a fairly warm hat. I appreciate the comments. Lucky hats are usually nasty. I don't many guys with a nice looking lucky hat.
  • mike from WI asks:
Hello Winke! I have just discovered this website and instantly fell in love with it. There are so many bowhunting websites out there, some are great, most I do not care for. I am a die hard bowhunter and this is the best website I have visited. Do you have any black hooded midwest whitetail sweatshirts, I looked on the site and did not come across any? Thanks for your time Mike Enright
    Winke Responds:
Mike, Your encouragement is very well received. Thanks. I appreciate the support. I don't have any hoodies but that is another item I need to add. Long-term, I need to do a better job with the merchandise. I am sure I'll have one some day, probably before fall. Thanks again.
  • Chad from VA asks:
How can I get another MWW window/bumper sticker? I like the looks of the new t-shirt. Love the stone color. I plan to buy a few of those. Thanks for another great year.
    Winke Responds:
Chad, I am out of bumper stickers. I need to order more. They are pretty cool and aren't overly expensive. I bought 10,000 on the last round and gave them out at the Deer Classics. I should have kept about 3,000 of them around here to send out when requested. I'll get more eventually. Thanks for the support.
  • scott from CT asks:
Hi Bill, What are your thoughts on a new world record typical being taken in the states in the near future with all the food plot and management techniques being used? Thanks, Scott
    Winke Responds:
Scott, I think it will happen. The problem with the typicals is that bucks tend to get trashier as they get older making it very rare for a buck to be perfectly typical past 4 years. They said that Milo Hanson's buck was only 3 1/2 years old. Can you imagine what it would have looked like in another year? Probably would have started to grow some forks and stickers and would have grossed higher but probably would have netted the same or lower! Every year some giant 270+ non-typicals fall and that seems to be more the rule. It will be a freak for a typical to stay clean long enough to get over 213+. It will happen though.
  • Chris from TN asks:
Bill, Are you going to have some low profile baseball caps with the MW logo on them available anytime soon?
    Winke Responds:
Chris, I am getting some hats made right now. There won't be too many on the first order. I was just trying to use up some extra inventory a fella had. I will make a big order soon. Thanks.
  • Todd from IN asks:
Bill, love the show! Keep up the good work. My question is when will hats be available? Thanks, Todd
    Winke Responds:
Todd, I have been dropping the ball on that. I am in the process of hiring someone to manage the day to day of Midwest Whitetail and that will help me/us to keep on top of everything. I still do a lot of writing and photography and with the hunting and producing the shows and the family activities, there are many priority 2 things that fall through the cracks. Hopefully, as the company continues to evolve and mature I/we can stay on top of this stuff better. I'll probably get some hats ordered in the next week or two. I should have some more shirt designs coming soon too. Thanks for the interest.
  • Josh from OK asks:
Bill, My wife bought me one of your moc-turtleneck shirts for Christmas and it is one size to small. I was wondering if I exchange it for a bigger size? I also wanted to tell you that my friends and I love your show and watch it every week. Keep up the good work. Thanks for your time.
    Winke Responds:
Josh, Yes, that would be fine. Just send it back and we'll swap it out. Thanks for your support. Address on the bottom of the home page.
  • Don from AL asks:
Bill, Do you do any supplemental feeding for your deer during the winter months? Corn, protein pellets etc.? Thanks, Don Romig
    Winke Responds:
Don, I don't, be we have a lot of food plots that still have standing crop (corn and beans). Actually, I don't even have my commercial corn crop picked yet so these deer are getting an easy meal. However, in areas with less food I think it is a good idea. I am not sure how much difference it will make on the final antler size, it will take a few generations of deer to see the full affect, but it has to help. What some of the guys are doing (I think Drurys used to do it - and may still) is feed the protein supplements from Purina, I think. I don't know of many others in the Midwest doing that, but it does make sense. I have not asked Mark recently if he thought that was paying off for him. He actually set up a dealership and bought the stuff at dealer cost, I think, to help cut the expense. It wasn't really all that expensive when you penciled it out versus feeding corn or other crops.
  • Steve Colby from MN asks:
Bill- Are we going to have MW Gear available 4 christmas gift giving?
    Winke Responds:
Steve, I have some shirts but need to order some hats and a few other items. I was told just today that my shopping cart will be done by Friday. Buy a bunch of the shirts because that shopping cart cost me $1,600! Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it.
  • Mason from OH asks:
how can i get a mw hat?
    Winke Responds:
Mason, I need to order some hats. I do have some shirts in and the shopping cart should be done early next week. I will get some hats on order here very soon. Thanks for your interest.
  • Tommy from MN asks:
Just wondering when or if you guys are ever going to offer a line of signature clothing such as hats, t-shirts, sweats, and maybe logos or decals for our trucks, and 4 wheelers?
    Winke Responds:
Tommy, I appreciate the interest. I did get a few hundred shirts in and will have them up on the site probably next week for sale. I'll go to work on hats then and little by little add some other cool merchandise. Thanks for asking.

  • Michael from MO asks:
When are we going to be able to buy same apperal. I have been waiting for a year an a half to advertise the best hunting site on the web! Love what you have put together with all of the different states.

  • Jim from MI asks:
Hey Bill, I was wondering when the Midwest Whitetail gear will be coming out. I want to help spread the word about it and I'm thinking the gear would be one way to do it. Thanks, and I can't wait for this season to start (yours and mine!). Jim from Michigan
    Winke Responds:
Jim, Thanks for your support. I should have something up there by mid-August. That is my goal. We are gearing up for another big run at this video business - should be exciting. Talk to ya later.
  • Jim from MI asks:
Hi Bill, Jim From Michigan here. I was wondering when you are going to have MW Gear available? I know you're busy and this is probably the last thing on your mind, but I want to get the word out there on your business and this is one way to do it. Talk to you later and thanks!!
    Winke Responds:
Jim, I need to take care of that. I have a few basic designs but I want to get some cool stuff so I am going to take a bit more time to get some really cool, edgy stuff made. I should have everything ready by the time the shows start running again this late summer (end of August). Sorry to be so slow about it, but it is expensive to load up on this stuff so I want to do it right. Thanks for your support. Bill
  • Amy from KY asks:
I was home in Ohio over the weekend and saw that my nephew, Jacob, and my brother Matthew Sellers had hats that said Midwestwhitetail.com on them, I was wondering how to go about getting one of these hats, is there a certain place to buy them? Thanks--Amy
    Winke Responds:
Amy, We sold out of the hats at the deer classics we attended. Sorry about that. I'll be getting more in later in the summer prior to the hunting season and will put them on the website this time so vistiors to the site can order them. Thanks for your interest. Sorry I can't help you right now.
  • Caleb from IA asks:
Hi Bill - I've posted a few hunting questions on your site in the past, and you do a great job of answering them. Nice work and thank you for the helpful hints. Today, however, I'm writing to ask about how to purchase a 'Midwest Whitetail' hat. Word of mouth is a great way to advertise in the hunting business and I'd like to support your show in my neck of the woods. Do you plan to sell them in retail anywhere in Iowa, or will you have them available on the site in the near future? Thanks again! Cheers! Caleb
    Winke Responds:
Caleb, I am going to have to buy more hats and shirts. I sold out of the hats and long sleeve shirts at the Deer Classics. All I have left are short sleeve Ts. I need to get all that squared away and get some inventory for sale on the site. I appreciate your interest in helping spread the word. I'll have something for you in the next few months as I reorder and get the shopping cart on the site up and running. Thanks. Bill
  • Tim from IN asks:
Bill, Hey I love the show and am an avid hunter. I dont film however, I was interested in knowing if the Indiana portion of the show was going to start being available to watch? It will be cool having the same thing that your team is doing in Iowa available here in Indiana, dealing with weather, buck activity and other stuff. Anyways, just curious and when will the gear be available for purchase? Cant wait to show off a midwest whitetail shirt or hat!!! Have a good day, Tim
    Winke Responds:
Tim, It will probably be in a couple months before I have the shopping cart up. I supposet I can do it sooner, it is just a matter of paying the Rhino Group to make it happen. In the meantime, I have short sleeve shirts for $15 including shipping and hats for $15, again including shipping. I have two hats, camo and chocolate brown distressed. The T shirt is green with light colored logo. If you want anything you can send a check to the address at the bottom of the home page and we'll take care of it for you. To answer your other question: we will have some kind of show in Indiana as we get close to the hunting season. Not sure the exact details of that right now as we are still working that out, but look for something in that regard. I am looking forward to seeing it myself. Thanks for your support. I really appreciate it. Bill
  • jacob from KY asks:
when are you going to start selling the midwest whitetail shrits i want one so much there really cool looking? and i am a big supporter of the show so i really want one?
    Winke Responds:
Jacob, I have several of them. You can orer the white long sleeve shirts for $20 and the green short sleeve for $15. We have hats for $15 also. If you want to order you can send a check to the address on the bottom of the homepage. Include your size and $4 for shipping. I will have them on the site with a shopping cart eventually, but it is not ready yet. Sorry about that. Thanks. Bill
