Illinois is famous for giant whitetails and we have a pro staff that can't wait to show you a number of them - dead, of course. But until then, we must satisfy ourselves with pre-season action, kicking off with this week's preview show. Should be a fun season. |

IL10.10: Calm Before the Storm
This week, one of Nic DiFilippo's former students shows us an 11 pointer he shot on October 22nd. This was his first bowkill - he's setting the bar high from the start! Jared introduces us to Hoyt's new Carbon Element compound bow - it's super light and silent, definitely worth checking out. Philippe Boland gives tips on gaining hunting ground and maintaining relationships with landowners. This week was the calm before the storm - check back next week for all rut action! |

IL10.12: "JD"
This week is all about bad luck turning around. After four days of disappointment, Paul Marshall learns that persistence pays off. His luck finally turns around on November 5th when a hit list buck comes within 13 yards and Paul sinks a Meatseeker. |

In this action packed episode, Scott Reinmann fills his buck tags in three hours. He and cameraman, Paul Marshall sit three different stands in one day and take out 2 nice bucks, including his #1 hit list buck "Mr. Stickers." |

IL10.12: New Buck Down
Jim Kuhlmann and Andy Melton have had an exciting season and know how to bring down big bucks! They've encountered almost all of their hit list deer and even an albino buck. On Nov. 11 Andy takes down a wide 9 point from a stand he's had consistent success with over the years. Next, the Kamps bring us an update on their season. Their dad shot a giant, you don't want to miss seeing this buck! Finally, John Melchi does some doe management. |

IL10.14: Like Father, Like Son
First, Philippe Boland has some incredible encounters and is able to film some unique deer behavior. Next, we go along with Paul Marshall and his father during shotgun season. They have a disappointing first day, but day two brings some better luck and they are able to take "The Perfect 8." |

IL10.15: Boland Gets Big 8
This week, Philippe Boland hunts opening day of gun season. After a slow morning, he checks trail cameras and has pictures of a big 8 pointer. He goes back out for the evening hunt and the big 8 shows up. Next, Scott Reinmann brings us an update on his season. He's been hunting with his family and films his dad take a doe. They also had sightings of a hit list buck named "Casper." |

This week we catch up with Gator Small who films for his friend Storme. They get on a big buck in a standing bean field on the opening day of shotgun season. Next, we check in with Nic DiFilippo and his students. Nic shows us his season which includes a successful buck and doe kill. Also, his former student, Colton hunts with Andy Melton and is able to shoot his first deer. |
