Yes, you read that right.  We got our butts kickedThis is the video we sent in and we didn't even make the final three.  There are many very good production companies working with the shows that Nikon sponsors.  The Lakoskys put up a cool rap music video with Lee and Tiffany rapping about binos - funny stuff.  The company that produces Tim Herald's "The Zone" show (Magnum Productions) put up a very nice scenic segment with sweeping panoramics with cool fog time lapses set in some impressive corners of the world combined with cool hunting footage.  Neither of them wonThe winner was the Keefer Brothers with "Backcountry Quest" produced by Rack Focus Multimedia.  It was a very funny skit that actually was primetime stuff.  I still laugh when I think about it.  They have a very good dry wit that is fun to watch.  I am going to contact Jon at Nikon and see if we can air it here.  I am sure you would really love it and I would enjoy watching it a few more times myself.  In the meantime, here is the segment we submitted.  We are going to have to give this more creative effort next year

I was able to get permission to run the winning video.

Here is the video from Chris and Casey Keefer that won Nikon's Monarch Video contest.  The goal was to creatively promote Nikon Optics.  I believe the brothers and Rack Focus Post did a very good job of this.  Chris and Casey star in their own show on The Sportsman Channel called Backcountry Quest.  You can learn more about what they are doing by going to the Backcountry Quest websiteThey also own a company called Rack 1, which produces attractants and supplements.  For more information, visit the Rack 1 website.
