ShowLogo.jpgStarting in early July, the Midwest Whitetail TV show began airing on The Sportsman Channel.  We are not getting away from the Web Shows in any way, but are only adding TV as another way to use all the footage we get each year.  The show has the same basic format as last year's TV show.  We select a main point that we want to make about whitetail hunting and then use hunting action from the past couple of seasons to reinforce the theme of the episode and bring it to life.  For example, the first Episode was about Opening Day strategies and featured hunts from Rick and Joe Knochel in Missouri and Larry Zach in Iowa.  The second Episode was about the grunt call: how valuable it is and how to use it correctly to increase your success by 50%.  That one featured hunts from Chad Lathrop, Tyler Selby and Tyson Patton in northern Missouri and myself from the 2008 season hunting in Iowa.

Since not everyone gets The Sportsman Channel, we are also posting the episodes online.  Actually Muddy Outdoors is posting them on their website GoMuddy.com.  You can watch them by going to their homepage and following the prominent link telling about the episodes.  Right now, only Episode One is online, but we will be adding Episode 2 this coming week.  We will add a new episode each week for the next 11 weeks until all 13 episodes are online.

Of course, if you get The Sportsman Channel (and I recommend it for lots of good hunting programs) you can watch the episodes there at 1:30 PM Wed, 3:00 AM Saturday and 10:30 AM Sunday.  (All these times are Eastern).

Thanks for your support.  I hope you enjoy the shows!
