Chad Stenglein is 39 years old and lives in Merrifield, Mn. with his wife Ann and two kids, Tanner (11) and Cori (7). Chad currently owns Lakes Area Chem Dry a carpet and upholstrey cleaning company, owning and operating his own company since 1995. Chad is very active in the local Brainerd Archery Club, serving as past president. He is also involved in the NWTF and is a board member of the Local Chapter of QDMA.
Chad has a passion for hunting, probably since he was in diapers and sat on his grandpa’s lap listening to “the boys” tell hunting stories. He has always enjoyed hunting of any kind but his heart is in bow hunting Whitetails. Chad brings 26 years of archery experience to Midwest Whitetail. Chad has been able to share his passion with his son Tanner and most recently his daughter Cori. Tanner and Chad have been able to go out hunting and come home to tell some great stories and show some great film footage. Hunting in the Stenglein family doesn’t just start with the first hunt but starts when you can get out and look for sheds in two feet of snow, plant the food plots in the spring of the year and start the “sneak ups” on the young and immature deer while watching the old boys showing off their stuff! Chad believes in quality deer management but also believes in quality time with his family.
Chad and his hunting/filming partner Craig Warner really had a lot of fun joining the Midwest Whitetail Team in 2010. They were able to go on some great hunts not only in Minnesota but also North and South Dakota. They are excited for the 2011 season and hope to film some great hunts!
Tanner has been putting together his own hit list. Chad is excited to see his son Tanner get his first buck this year. Even though Chad is putting time into helping Tanner he hasn’t forgotten about his own hit list!
