Well here we are, it has almost begun!! Right now most of us hard core bowhunters are counting down each and every tiny click on the clock! Myself included. This week I am doing everything and anything to stay out of the woods. Every time I think about it visiting a farm I think of a big yellow caution tape going around it as a reminder to "stay out".
Being in MI, sometimes I think we forgot about the hunting pressure because we are so use to it being pressured. So I am making it my goal this week to shoot my bow twice a day and double check all my gear. This will keep my intrusion level down to nothing. That way, come Saturday Morning October 1st, I know I did all could to produce a good hunt for you guys!

Whitney Slade & Chris Smith - Southern Michigan

Our Michigan bow-season opener is right around the corner!  We KNOW we're not the only ones excited about it!!!  We hope you are just as ready as we are to grab a Hoyt and put an arrow through a deer.  We spent a lot of time in the woods during our early doe season and saw quite a few does and small bucks, but did not lay eyes on either of our hitlist bucks, Uno (Whitney) or Bruiser (Chris).  So with that being said, we are a little nervous!  However, the weather has been in the 60s for quite some time, and this weekend there is supposed to be a bit of a cold-front coming through and temperatures aren't supposed to get out of the 50s!  We are hoping that this will be perfect time to help get our bucks out and moving around for opening day on Saturday, October 1st!  Make sure to keep checking back every Monday to see our new shows and what's going on with the pro-staff!
