#4 I am a huge family guy and really feel guilty being gone so much from about Oct. 22nd to Dec. 1st. However its like a two bladed sword. When I am on stand for a couple days all day I feel bad because I know my wife is at home with three kids after working all day doing homework, baths, supper, and sports by herself. Are home is rediculously busy and it is almost impossible for one person to handle. But then during prime time hunting when I am at home Alls I think about is what stand I should be in and what is moving where. Its almost a no win situation at this time of my life. That is why during this Lull period I try and get things done around the house.
#3 Take the wife and kids out to eat and to a movie. Concentrate on hitting all of the kids sporting events.
#2 Anything I can do to make the boss happy. Yes I gave up my man card a long time ago. Spend some quality one to one time with her. Get a sitter and take her out where ever she wants to go. Shoot sometimes even paint her toenails. Man that sucks, but it is amazing what a guy will do to be able to hunt whitetail during the rut.
#1 Fine tuning gun stands because the rut runs into the gun season and I don't want to be messing with stands when I should be hunting.
