Casey and Corey's Hit List
Acreage is not a problem as Casey and Corey have several lease's in Clark County and Edgar County Illinois that they will be hunting during October-January. In Indiana, Casey and Corey own and manage 500 acres and also lease 900 acres in Martin County. Both Counties in Illinois and Martin County rank in the top twenty in both states for record book whitetails. The Jones boys have the trail cam pictures to prove it. Here are just a few trail cam photos of two bucks that Casey and Corey will be going after this fall.
2011 Hit List
"ELEVEN OR MORE"
Eleven or more is one of our top bucks. He first showed up in 2009 and has developed into an absolute Giant. He is five and a half years old and will be number one on the hitlist. Eleven or more is a fighter and is a very aggresive buck and travels over 1200 acres according to trail cam photos. The buck broke off several tines in 2010 due to fighting so you can bet we will try and rattle this deer in. We have several stand sites waiting till just the right time to go in and try to connect with this great buck.
"BIG MAC"
Big Mac is a buck that we have tons of history with. We have seen him on hoof from the stand and with over 2000 trail cam pics over the last three years, he is just part of the family. Big Mac is a 6x6 and only travels in a core area of about 150 acres. Big Mac is a very passive buck and really doesnt move much or show much agrresive behavior. We have found his sheds the last two years and this buck has really added the mass and inches on his rack in 2011 as a four and a half old. This deer will be extremely hard to try to hunt due to his attitude and behavior.
