20090818105330525.jpgTodd Bowen got a late start in hunting since his dad was not a hunter. Todd killed his first buck in 2000 on the first hunt he ever went on. From that point forward, he was hooked. Some might call it an obsession actually. He started bowhunting in 2002 and the passion was stoked even further.

Todd loves all facets of the hunting experience from preseason scouting to food plots to trail cameras. He especially loves adding to the experience by capturing everything on tape. Todd's favorite hunting partner is his wife Katie and she'll be making a few appearances on Midwest Whitetail-Michigan this season. Todd believes that hunters are truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to be stewards of the land and experience nature the way that we do.  Todd is a native of Dansville and currently lives in Spring Lake. He will primarily hunt private land in southern Michigan.

Todd's Hit List

Todd will spend most of his hunting time in the woods near his home in Southern Michigan. Todd will hunt and tape with Austin Boersema and the two share the same hit list.

20090805110401107.jpg "UNI-BEAM" is a buck we caught on trail camera last year and he had great potential as a 1.5-year-old buck not to mention a very identifiable rack with that uni-brow look to his beams. We think he made it through '08 and hope to see him in '09. Is he a shooter? We'll just have to wait and see.

20090805110327333.jpg "CURLY":We caught this good-looking 2.5-year-old buck on trail cam several times in January and February so we know he's around this fall. We haven't spotted him yet but there's no doubt he's out there. He lives in an area that's thick and covered in corn which made preseason scouting tough. But he's on the list and he'll be a good one.

20090805110352386.jpg "SUPER 8": We've captured one photo of this buck but just can't seem to find him on his feet in daylight in any of the surrounding fields. He looks to be an 8-point with great brow tines. A definite shooter for our area.

20090805110345663.jpg "HIGH BROW" is an awesome buck with killer brow tines. There will be little doubt which buck this is when he steps out. Great brows, good mass, good frame. A solid deer that's definitely worthy of the list.

20090805110349797.jpg"LUCKY 7": Another good buck with exceptional brow tines. Definitely a genetic trait for Todd's area. He looks to be a 7-point but that won't save him from being on the list.
