Greetings from Southern Indiana,

It has been awhile since my last post, but tonight I actually have a great reason to send this update! My son and fellow cameraman Will Walerczak finally got to lay his hands on on his first whitetail harvest after working hard for three seasons. Will harvested a mature doe at 5:19pm this evening by putting a great shot on her with his 20 gauge Mossberg. I really felt the deer might move tonight with an approaching low pressure system and thunderstorms quickly approaching our area. Boy was I right. Not only did Will harvest this doe, but we almost took one out with the suburban on the way home, and my wife nearly hit a doe on her way home as well. As always hunt before and after big changes in weather. We look foward to bringing you this hunt in the near future.

November 15th will be a non-hunting day for me. November 16th I will be up way before the crack of dawn to head to our property in Kentucky for 1 1/2 days of hunting. I will be running camera and hunting with my fellow Outdoor Ministry partner in crime Jason Cruise. We have a great spot picked out overlooking a bench and popular travel route to and from a bedding area. We had a good encounter with a 2 1/2 year old 8 point there last week but elected to pass on him. We also have the frigid forage big and beasty to hunt over in the evenings. According to Charlie Alsheimer November 15th-18th should be those magical 3 days we look for each year!

We will keep you updated on how things go this week.

As always hunt safe, shoot straight, and enjoy time in God's great outdoors!

blessings on your week,

paul
