Rod Rincker is 35 years old and lives in Shoals, Indiana, with his beautiful girlfriend, Carla Mullins, and her two children Miranda, age 15, and Tyler, age 10. He has one daughter, Miranda LeAnn, age 14. He is employed with The United States Gypsum Company, in Shoals.
Rod is part of the Acorn Ridge Outdoor Adventures Team, www.acornridgeoutdoors.com , and will be contributing footage for Midwest Whitetail-Indiana. Acorn Ridge Outdoors is pleased to be a part of the Midwest Whitetail Pro-Staff Team. With a little bit of hard work, and a little bit of luck, Rod believe they can put a few of these southern Indiana bucks on the ground and on film . The whole team is pumped and ready for the challenge.
Roy Montgomery is 32 years old and lives in Shoals, Indiana with his lovely girlfriend, Teresa, and their 3 pets, Libby, Shooter, and James. Roy is currently employed with the United States Gypsum Company, where he takes the postion as a loading supervisor. Roy has been employed there for nearly 10 years.
Roy is also part of the Acorn Ridge Outdoors team
. Roy has a long and respectable hunting background, with a few "wall hangers" to his credit dating back to the early 1990's. Roy is looking forward to bringing you some awesome hunting footage, while practicing good conservation and hunter ethics - all from the hills of scenic Martin County.
Rod and Roy's Hit List
Rod and Roy will be hunting a combination of private farms and leased ground in the southern part of Indiana. With a few good bucks under their belts, they are setting their sights on whoppers or nothing and have put together a pretty stiff hit list for 2009.
The following words are Rod's.
"TINY TEN": Looks to be a mature 3 1/2, maybe 4 1/2 year old. He got his name due to his short G4s. He will score somewhere in the low 150's.
"HIGH-N-TIGHT": This is an awesome looking buck, good tine length on a tight knit rack. "High-N-Tight" should score in the 140's.
"TANK": The name says it all. This is a 4 1/2 yr old 8 pt who is just a stud of a deer. He's got it all, tine length and mass. He's going to score somewhere in the 140 range.
"DOZER": This is a mature 8 pt who is wide and kinda tall. He just looks like he could push other bucks over. I am hoping that he will score in the 130's.
"DR. SUESS": This funky looking 3 1/2 year old buck has curvy G2s and is offset on the right side. he will score in the upper 130's.
"LONG SHOT": He gets his name from the long main beams he has and the space from his G3s to the end of his beams. This buck will score in the 130s.
