Chad Smith is 32 years old and a lifelong resident of Delaware County, Indiana. Chad is the only outdoorsman in my family, and he has been in love with the outdoors ever since he can remember. Chad holds a Union Electricians card and is currently a professional firefighter for the city of Muncie. Typically, Chad’s style of hunting would include intercepting bucks in fence rows and draws connecting feeding and bedding areas. Wood lots are small in Delaware County and deer can be pressured out in no time at all. So Chad plans to hunt carefully this season. You can follow along and learn his tricks for hunting small cover, pressured bucks.
Chad's Hit List
The following words are Chad's.
"MR. CRABS": This is a deer that I really like. I have been unable to get any footage of this buck but I do have some good trail cam pictures of him. He is a heavy eight-pointer with a distinct crab claw on the right side. This buck lives in an area that I have had high success in over the years. I feel confident that I am going to get a shot at this buck come fall.
"TOWER": This buck is a big bodied deer. I got some trail cam pictures of him in mid-July and I have not seen him since. He was just forming his 7th point at that time. This buck was photographed with "Mr. Crabs". Although "Mr. Crabs" is my buck of choice, if "Tower" shows himself, I am going to take a good long look at him.
