Heath Malone lives in northwest Indiana with his wife of 5 years, Alina. He spends most of his time hunting small farms in Jasper County. Heath works as an operator at Iroquois Bio Energy, an ethanol plant located in his home town of Rensselaer. While his passion is chasing big Midwest whitetails, he also enjoys fishing, turkey hunting, and taking his bird dog out for hunts when time allows. He has never hunted outside of Indiana and hopes to make his first trip out of state this spring.
Heath's Hit List
The following words are Heath's:
"BOSS": "Boss" is a deer that I have encountered the last two years. I had an opportunity to take this deer early last season. I passed on him feeling like he had the potential to be a real giant. He has not disappointed me. He is a deer I would love to put on the wall.
"TINES": Tines is a deer that came out of nowhere. I got a trail cam shot of this buck and he is running in the same bachelor group as Boss. I have never seen this deer before. I can only assume it is a younger buck I saw last year and he has blown up into a trophy. If Tines would wonder in too close before Boss made his appearance I would have to consider taking him.
