Jason Pfister truly enjoys all aspects of this great sport and feels very fortunate to be able to hunt. He's been hunting for 25 years and has been lucky enough to take numerous deer over that time with both bow and gun. Jason harvested his best buck in 2008, which was also the first buck he's taken in over 10 years. He strongly supports QDMA and its principals, so his criteria for harvesting mature deer may be at a higher level than some; which is okay. Jason was fortunate enough to lay claim to all of the complete sets of sheds (4 years worth) after this deer was taken, making this a truly unique trophy.
Jason's Hit List
The following words are Jason's:
For 2009, I have a couple of nice bucks that have made my hit list (a 10 & a big 12 point buck that may score more than mine from last year). However, my first priority will be helping my son, Jayson, harvest his first deer. I have setup numerous tree stands throughout our hunting area so that we can try and capture these moments on film (we are super excited about this). I’ll also be filming and hunting with my good friend, Jody Reinen, as he tries to wrap a tag around one of the great deer he has on his hit list. Filming is a completely new experience for me; one that I am very excited to participate in with Jody and Midwest Whitetail - Wisconsin. I look forward to sharing our experiences and I wish everyone good luck this upcoming season.
