20091002164039001.jpgJarrod Mullins is a member of Midwest Whitetail Ohio. He is the son of Jerry Mullins who also is a member. Jarrod is a Registered Nurse and has lived in southeast Ohio all his life. His wife of 2 years, Meagan, is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Jarrod has always loved the outdoors and grew up around hunting. Everything he knows about hunting came from his dad. He enjoyed hunting with his dad growing up and is looking forward to spending a lot of time with him in the woods this year. Jarrod will be behind the camera for his dad's hunts and his dad will be filming his hunts.

20091002164105661.jpgJerry Mullins was born in Marion County, Indiana in 1961. His family moved to southern Ohio when he was eight, and they have lived there ever since.

Jerry married his wife, Jody, on August 2nd 1980. They have two children, son Jarrod (24) who will also be Jerry's cameraman, and daughter Shana (18) who will be a freshman at a local college. Jerry is a minister of the Gospel and has been a pastor of a nearby church for almost 4 years.

He got started hunting about 22 years ago after joining a local bowhunters club. His first deer scored 132 2/8" with 9 scoreable points and earned his club's Big Buck award that year.  Jerry has always hunted with Hoyt bows. His first bow was a Hoyt Pro Hunter which he used for years until he bought a Hoyt Fast Flight. Jerry even shot Hoyt's Chuck-It broadheads until they quit making them. All of his hunting has been on private land and he has endured the same rewards and problems as any other private land hunter.  Keep watch this season to learn the techniques that Jerry and Jarrod use to shoot big Ohio bucks.

Jarrod and Jerry's 2010 Hit List

"Alpha Male" 20100831155759786.jpg

Alpha Male is #1 on our list and you can see why. He is a nice typical 10 point that showed up last year at the beginning of the rut.  This deer was the Alpha Male in our hunting area last year, hence the name. We know he survived gun season due to trail cam pictures of him so we will focus mainly on him this year. These pictures are from last year so we are sure he is even bigger this year.

"Late Eight" 20100831155800894.jpg

Late Eight is #2 on our list this year. We named him this because he showed up late in the season last year. We were still able to get several trail cam pictures of him last year and he was a decent deer last year so we believe he will score Pope & Young this year.

"Starbuck"

Starbuck is #3 on our list although he definitely has our attention. He was a seven point last year that hung around a lot.  He seemed to really like the camera as we had well over 100 trail cam pictures of him last year. That's why he's named  Starbuck. He has really long main beams and we are excited to see what he looks like this year.
