20091006121547623.jpgMike King lives in central New York.  He is 32 years old and has three great kids, Hunter, 8, Alexandria, 7, Brooklyn, 7.  His wife's name is Leaona.

Mike is employed by the state as a corrections officer. He has been hunting since he was 14 and has been fishing with his father since he was a little kid. Mike was first introduced to hunting when his dad took him spring turkey hunting. When Mike shot his first bird that spring, he was hooked. He then began to shoot a bow and go to bow shoots with his dad and could not wait for the fall so that they could go deer hunting. In the fall, Mike went bowhunting with his dad and several uncles (Bart, Matt, Hank). He had a great time while in the woods, however he didn't get his first deer until he was 15. Since then Mike has been addicted to deer hunting.

Mike owns his own property which also borders his dad's property and they both have been managing their properties for several years.  They have a management program with their neighbors, as well.  They don't shoot any young bucks. They all shoot does every year.  They plant food plots and put out minerals stations. Mike also has a bowhunt booked in Illinois this November. He is looking forward to video taping all his hunts for Midwest Whitetail.

As you will find out Mike doesn't have the racks like those found inn some parts of the Midwest. However, he does have a lot of deer and some nice bucks. His hunting areas are all farm lands with creek bottoms and some rolling hills.  He also has a lot of nice funnels for bowhunting whitetails.  Mike looks forward to showing you what New York has to offer other than New York City!

Bart King is 45 years young and resides in central upstate New York, with his wonderful wife, Karen, and 2 daughters, Danielle and Amy and the joy of his life my granddaughter, Kaylin.  Bart has been bowhunting for 27  plus years in New York and several other states plus Canada. When he's not in the woods bowhunting whitetails, he's chasing  turkeys in the spring and fall or working at his cousin's archery pro shop in Utica.  Bart shot his personal best buck in New York on public land 2 years ago: an 8 pt. that scored 110” pope and young . While not a monster in other states, he is a great deer for Bart's area. Bart truly enjoys the chance to chase mature whitetails and spend time in God's great outdoors. He look forward to sharing his fall season from New York.
