2011/2012 Schedule of shows:
Our online shows run real-time from roughly late August until the season ends in each state. You can watch previous episodes easily by going to the player. By clicking the state links on the home page you can check out eleven different shows this season. All eleven series are semi-live with ten of them focused on specific geographical areas. Here is the schedule.
Sunday: Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota
Monday: Main Show, Michigan, Without Excuse (our ministry series)
Tuesday: Iowa
Wednesday: Ohio, Missouri
Thursday: Indiana, Northeast U.S., Great Plains
The "Main Show" also runs throughout much of the off-season with episodes about whitetail related subjects we didn't have time to cover during the season, in addition to themes such as shed hunting, food plot strategies, shooting tips, etc. It runs from mid-February through May each year, available on Monday mornings.
About Midwest Whitetail
Midwest Whitetail is first and foremost a semi-live on-line hunting show. You can only watch the web version of Midwest Whitetail on the internet, and unlike television, we produce the show during the season - as close to live as possible. You can watch the shows only a day or two after the hunts occur. This format permits us to talk about timely issues such as changing weather patterns, current deer behavior, strategies to employ in the near future, etc. We try to take advantage of this semi-live format to help you stay one step ahead of the deer you are hunting and to introduce new products.
All the content on the site is free of charge, paid for by the sponsors. So please support them as best you can.
You can go back anytime and watch the entire 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 seasons, if you like - they are all right there in the drop-down menus on the player. Join our e-mail reminder list if you want me to send you an e-mail when news shows are available on the site.
There are also video tips, product reviews and articles on the site. We update these from time to time. Please spend a little time and check these out, as well. We will be adding new articles regularly.
Midwest Whitetail Television
We also produce a television show for the Sportsman Channel. It is running Q1, 2012 (reruns from the fall 2011 series) and we will feature new original episodes starting in July through December. The show will air during Realtree's Hunting Camp block on Tuesday evenings. I am not sure of the exact time at this point, but I will post that information when the exact time has been set. The TV show is theme-based with tons of action and some good information to help you become a better deer hunter. We have a big pro staff so we can make it action-packed with many kills and encounters per episode.
