Pro Staff Wanted

Can you believe it is already March!? I feel like just yesterday we were rolling out the final show.

We have had a few weeks to catch our breath and look back on the season as well as look forward to the next. One thing we would like to do for next year is to add a few good groups to the Minnesota Pro Staff. If you are interested in applying for Pro Staff or would like more information please contact Scott Prucha. Scott will be working very closely with the Pro Staff this year and he is also going to be handling all incoming Pro Staff.

Ideally you have some filming experience and have the potential for a great season in the woods. If I had any real advice to give you it would be to make sure you have someone to film you and someone that is willing to commit as much time as you are. Last year we found that the best practice was teams of two hunters that are willing to film each other. One group that did that really well was Jason Christianson and Chris Seidl. Chris entered onto the Pro Staff solo and had planned to have Jason film for him. As payment to Jason from Chris he let them shoot their first deer of the season which turned into Episode 11. The two together equally put in time and when it was all said and done they both had their bucks on the ground and one of their most memorable seasons to date with everything on film. We don't do self-filmed hunts and we don't hunt without the camera. These are both good things to know right away.

Being a part of the Midwest Whitetail Pro Staff does have it rewards and the show will prove to be bigger and better in 2010 with the possibility of television in 2011. Now is the time. Again, if you interested please don't hesitate to shoot an email to Scott Prucha and ask any question you may have. It would be great to have you!
