If you are like me, you have had just about enough of the jerky recipe. I love Scott and Kurt, but it's time to move on! Actually, I am going to start getting more active on the blog side as the bucks are just now starting to put on enough antler to be interesting. I'll throw some regular material up here on the blog, about stuff like bow tuning, antler growth, hit lists, whatever seems interesting as we start to move toward another exciting fall here at Midwest Whitetail. We will make a few changes this year and as we get closer to the official start of the show season (mid-August) I'll start to let that cat out of the bag. Thanks for joining us, we look forward to another great year.
In the meantime, we have one more great turkey show from Missouri to keep us entertained.
I am about to write something I will probably regret. I like to hunt turkeys, love to take the kids turkey hunting, and guide just about anyone, but I really have a hard time watching turkey hunts on TV or the web. However, I just watched one of the funnest turkey shows I have ever seen. The guys from MO put together a fast-paced turkey episode that had my attention all the way through. It was very cool to see them take two doubles, one with a bow and one with a gun. Great job editing too. The Missouri production team has really come a long ways from where they started at the beginning of last year. I am lucky to have these guys. I can't wait to see what they, and the great MO pro staff, produce for us this fall.
