If you watch as many hunting shows as I do, you have probably heard of a tactic of using MRI (most recent information) to decide where you are going to hunt. It's really quite a simple tactic that makes perfect sense.
It is critical to know what deer, and particularly bucks, are doing.
Have they started chasing? Are the big boys coming to beans? Is cut corn the ticket? Are mornings dead? Are the bucks on lock down. These are just some of the questions a good hunter should be asking during the season.
Here at Midwest Whitetail Missouri, we are going to attempt to give you this information. Each week I will start a weekly update blog, and each prostaff group will have the opportunity to let you know what they are seeing.
I am hoping that the blog will have new information daily. You will get MRI from hunters right here in Missouri. When it comes to pursuing giant whitetails, you have to try to get ahead of a buck. MRI from this blog might just be the added tool you need to kill that buck of a lifetime.
We have an amazing prostaff this year, and I can't wait to see what these guys lay down. In mid August we will put out a short promo, and then in late August we will start the weekly shows.
By the trail camera pictures and velvet footage I've seen from the prostaff, it should prove to be an exciting year for Midwest Whitetail Missouri.
