Over the past 26 years Wade has been fortunate enough to harvest quite a few mature bucks, and has a huge passion for bow hunting big game. Hard work, patience, time and luck are the four key ingredients Wade feels it takes to be a successful bowhunter. Shed hunting is another passion Wade has that keeps him busy in the spring along with bowhunting turkeys, and prepping and planting food plots on his farms. Wade has been with Double Bull Outdoors and Driven TV in previous years and is going to get some good video and kills for Midwest Whitetail. He enjoys having a cameraman with him on his hunts so they too can feel the adrenalin rush that happens when a mature buck walks in and presents a shot.
Jill has been around hunting her whole life and loves the outdoors. She has been filming Wade for a couple of years and is now ready to step in front of the camera and kill some big bucks. Jill is not afraid to hang stands, plant food plots, hang trail cameras, and prepare all the necessary things it takes to get ready for the bowhunting season. She loves spending time with Wade in the outdoors and bowhunting is a huge part of their lives. Jill has been shooting her Hoyt Vicxen all summer and can’t wait to get in a tree and get the season started.
Wade and Jill have homes in Austin and in Nisswa and hunt in Southern and Northern MN along with other states. This year they will be hunting in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Missouri. Spending time with family is very important to them and they have five children, Mhairi, Layla, Paige, Aubrie and Jack. Wade and Jill will have a weekly blog on the website to inform everyone of their hunting adventures, so check with them to see where they will be hunting and also their updates week to week.

Here
is the deer that has caught my eye and a deer that I will be after as soon as the season opens. I have not seen this deer before on the farm but I'm guessing he is a 4 year old deer. He is a 10 pointer with a couple crab claws and is a big mature buck. He has been coming into our beans late in the evening and is a very smart deer. It will be a challenge to arrow this deer as he is in an area that is swampy and thick.
"No Brows"

The buck I call "No Brows" is a deer that got his name because he has no brow tines. He is another 3 1/2 year old that has shown himself in front of our trail cameras many times and is a good solid deer. He is an 8 point buck with short G3's and a deer that Jill will be hunting quite often. He has been coming into the Rack Back mineral site from Frigid Forage all summer long.
