20100809155004312.jpgB.A. Starr is 25 years old and lives in south eastern Ohio. He is currently employed at Quality Environmental Services where he documents water sources for multiple coal mines. When he is not working you can find him in the woods hunting or getting the next seasons spots ready. From early season scouting to late season shed hunting, giant whitetails are always on B.A.'s mind. He has been around hunting his whole life from retrieving ground hogs that his grandpa shot to following his dad through the woods as a kid. B.A. has taken some nice Ohio whitetails ranging from mid 120s to the 150s. He has also done some filming in the past for his cousin and Midwest Whitetail Prostaffer Nate Littel. In the off season, he trys to stay sharp by going hog hunting in southern Florida.

B.A. Starr's - 2011 Hit List

"Crabby"

I have seen this buck several times last year and had him ay 18 yards but wasn't able to get an arrow headed his way.  He is a mature ten pointer with a crab claw at the end of his left main beam.

"Night Stalker"
20110825095443407.jpgThis is a buck B.A. has history back to when he was 2 1/2 years old.  He grew into a good eight framed eight pointer but is nocturnal.  He loves to hit the Frigid Forage food plot in late October through November every year.  Maybe this year he will slip up and show himself in daylight during the rut.

"Pretty Boy"

This buck is on a new property that B.A. will be hutning this year.  He doesn't have a lot fo pictures of this deer but he is looking forward to seeing this Ohio bruiser with his bow in hand in the fall.

"Lucky"
20110825095444827.jpg  Lucky is a buck that caught B.A.'s eye and is his number one hit list buck.  This thirteen pointer runs the same farm as Pretty Boy and B.A. would love to stick an arrow in him this season.

"The Traveler"

This is a buck I got on last year but wasn’t able to put a tag on him. I located him early in the season but then he disappeared. Amazingly, I checked my camera about two miles away on20100831130146620.jpg the other side of town and to my disbelief there he was. I did see this deer once after the season and he is nuumber one on my hit list this year.

"Sawblade 8"

This is a brute of an eight point that I watched all last year after I tagged out. I'm still trying to get a trail cam picture and video of him for this year.  He's been seen several times and I know he's still alive. I’m hoping that he will make his way to the Frigid Forage food plot this year so I can get my hands on him.

"Daddy's  Baby"

I've seen this is a buck for a few years now. The reason for the name is because I believe this is the son of a big ten I shot two years ago. I have pictures of this deer running with the one I shot. He has turned out to look identical to what I think might be his dad. He’s a splitting image. I've seen this deer a few times this year but haven't gotten any good video or trail cam pictures of him. This is a picture of him last year.
