20100819090049592.jpgJoshua Whitehill's love for the outdoors began at the age of three when he and his father went on his first turkey hunt. Now at the age of 23, he is the fourth generation to work the family dairy farm. Every summer consist of growing corn, alfalfa, soybeans and other crops that support the farm. It is also great habitat to find giant whitetails in creek bottoms that are surrounded by flint hill pastures. Josh believes the outdoors is a place to spend time with family, friends and God. His passion is hunting mature whitetails. "There is nothing that can match the adrenaline rush you get when you have beaten the senses of a whitetail." As daily life ensues, his mind never strays far from his next hunt and all of the adventures that the outdoors has to offer.

Josh's 2010 Hit List

 "Ghost"

Ghost is a buck of bucks.  He has everything that you could want in a Kansas giant and he gets his name because he is so elusive. I have run trail cameras on this farm over and over but still no Ghost. I have seen him a couple times and once he was caught on camera.  I have also seen him while baling the alfalfa that he has been feeding on. He is the deer that i am looking forward to hunting the most.

"Double Deuce"

This is a old ten point that has a width of close to 22 inches wide and that's where he gets his name. He is on a farm I have let sit over the last two years and was very excited when I got a lot of pictures of this mature whitetail. We got in there and hung a set over a hidden soybean field that he has been feeding through on the way to the alfalfa fields.

"Sweeps"

This buck is a solid 10 point that has massive main beams that sweep all the way over his nose. He is living on a farm I have been managing over the last 5 years. I have a food plot with producing oak trees surrounding it. It is directly between the bedding area and the feed fields.
