He works at Meijer Inc. and now resides in Hopkins, Michigan.  His wife April and four children all enjoy the outdoors. He has harvested deer in multiple Michigan counties, but will be focusing on Allegan County this year. He will be hunting both state land and small private pieces of property. His partner will again be his son Eric for this upcoming year.

Eric Alberda will be a senior in college this year. At an early age Eric would tag along on his dad’s hunts and attempt to lay them down on film. Even though the footage was not the best, he was learning how to run the camera at an early age. Since Eric has started hunting, all of his nine big game kills have been on video. Eric will be teaming up with his dad Mike. They plan to use trail cameras to try to zero in one some good bucks.  With the use of their trail cameras, they plan on zeroing in on some good bucks.
