Jerry Slade is the owner of Michigan Whitetail Properties and spends his days locating and marketing quality hunting land across Michigan. Former QDMA Branch president, Jerry is very involved in promoting quality whitetail management. He’ll be spending most of his time in the southern counties after some of the huge whitetails this area has to offer. Jerry has been hunting whitetails all over the midwest for the last 40 years and has successfully taken over 100 bucks. On top of being an avid whitetail hunter, Jerry is an accomplished elk hunter taking five bulls over 320 inches with his bow. This includes a 377 inch monster at yards.

"Ghost"

Ghost is a heavy 4 1/2yr old main frame 10 pt that is rarely seen but will be a great addition to my wall if I do.
"The Garbage Man"

This buck is nicknamed The Garbage Man because of all of the garbage he has growing out of his brow tines. I've glassed this buck a few times and have a few good trail cam pictures and I believe this buck to score in the
170" class.

"Splitter".jpg)
This buck I've named "Splitter" because of the split G2, and both brow tines are split. I've had him on trail camera in the same area a number of times. One of the main challenges is to get into this area during the right wind without him knowing that I am there, which is the case with most mature deer, but the area he is frequenting is a large fairly open woodlot next to his bedding area. I also have a number of other large mature bucks frequenting this area this same area and I feel that as the chasing stage of the rut starts to get underway, that hopefully he will make a mistake and show himself at a range that I can harvest the beautiful buck.
