Tom Trambaugh is a Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and a retired DoD Civil Servant. Tom lives in southern Indiana near his son Kyle, daughter Autumn, and his eight grand children! Tom started deer hunting in 1973 and archery hunting in 1981. Tom cut his teeth hunting the rugged terrain and big woods of the Hoosier National Forest. Over the years he has collected some impressive whitetails.
Tom and Kyle will be hunting the same sets this season as they have for the past 20 years.
Tom's 2010 Hit List
"Unicorn"
This buck showed up visiting a scrape this year. We have no history with him, but he is a mature deer and worthy of a well placed arrow. Hopefully in the next two weeks he will start moving during daylight.
"Ten"
This is a deer that looks to be fully mature and is sporting a perfect looking rack. This buck is in an area that has produced in the past for me. I'm excited to see that a shooter has returned.
"Gr8"
A good looking eight that we have seen before. He is 3.5 and will be tough to let walk, so for now he is on the hit list. Hopefully he will continue visiting this area so we can get a better look at him during daylight.
